It all started in 2004 when the founder of Beano, Alan Yoon, embarked on a journey to learn the art of making delicious, fresh and nutritious soy milk products. It took him a year to mull over the difficult decision to give up his comfortable job in the finance industry back then and to plunge full time into his soy milk passion.
From much research, experimenting and even spending time overseas to study Taiwan’s famous soy milk products, Alan took almost a year to finally perfect and create his own Beano secret soy milk formula which uses only premium certified non-genetically modified beans from Canada.
While on some days it can get challenging to be committed to waking up daily at 4.30am to make soy milk, Alan derives great satisfaction from seeing his customers enjoy his products. This passion has also continued to fuel his interest in developing more fresh and nutritious Beano drinks and desserts over the years.
